Sweeping bands of turquoise, lavender, ochre and soft mauve move across a pale grey ground, where thick impasto makes the surface feel richly worked and tactile. Warm burnt sienna and deep violet rise in the centre, softened by translucent washes that ripple outward like fabric caught in wind. Light grazes ridges and valleys, giving the forms a sculptural, mid-motion presence, an energetic, expressive piece that brings warmth and movement to a calm room.
